Simple yet versatile, this saucer plate is perfect for serving butter, sauces, or small accompaniments. At Sofia’s, we also love using it as the base for a creamy burrata—an elegant little piece designed to elevate even the simplest moments at the table.

Each saucer comes from a supplier we work closely with in the small town of Deruta, in the heart of Italy. Celebrated for its centuries-old tradition of ceramic artistry, Deruta has been at the centre of Italian maiolica (tin-glazed pottery) since the Renaissance, with artisans perfecting their craft for over 500 years.

Every piece is hand-painted, reflecting the vibrant patterns and timeless charm that have made Deruta ceramics so distinctive.
